Grew up in the Chicago area touring and playing local clubs with a band called Torben Floor. Band broke up, Carey went his own way, caught the ears of producer Ray Kennedy (Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, John Mellencamp, Ron Sexmith), they cut some tracks which formed into an album titled Lucid Dream, due out sometime in 2006.

The indie rock four piece (ben-guitar vocals, jed-bass, jeff-guitar vocals, nate-drums) from Kalamazoo, Michigan is bringing their brand of compelling hooks, lyrical genius, and unique arrangements to your town and every other you could possibly ever imagine.

Kiss Me Quick is no stranger to playing live with well over 100 shows performed. They�ve played tour dates with Crooked Fingers, Karate, The Constantines, Engine Down, Mock Orange, Q and Not U, Don Caballero, Mates of State, Bear Vs. Shark, and Thunderbirds are Now! just to name only a few.

With their first release �The Mastodon�, available through Hearts on Fire Records, Kiss Me Quick will be trekking throughout the eastern half of the United States through the month of August with the western portion coming in December and March.

�The Mastodon� was recorded by Matt Talbot (HUM, Centaur) at his studio The Great Western Record Recorders in Tolono, IL and mixing and mastering was done at Tempermill Studios by Dave Feeney in Ferndale, MI.

Kiss Me Quick is not just a studio band, and their intense live show is one not to be missed.

With the release of �The Mastodon� and their heavy touring schedule, Kiss Me Quick won�t be extinct any time soon.
